All pupils accessing on-site placements at Unity Academy must have received some outreach support from the team at their named school.

Schools are encouraged to think about the pupils they have on site and request early intervention to prevent them ever needing to leave their named schools. Outreach support will always focus on maintaining children in mainstream settings. Training and support will be provided to schools and staff to support this level of intervention. This provides a tiered approach to intervention at the right time and place.
